Just looked at the main page. Very pretty, but the main text color makes it a bit of a strain to read against the background, especially with the fancy capitals.
Also, the navigation is difficult in that, once you have clicked on one of the links, you cannot use the back button on the browser to return to the index, but rather have to go to the "Home" link at the top of the page.
I like the initial flash load of the site. The magenta is a cool touch.
What's up with the cowbell whenever you touch a link? "More cowbell!!"?
K, by popular demand, I've removed the bell. Also made the text a bit more readable. :) And yes, of course it's opera compatible. I is a smrt web developer!
It's not working in Opera for me. At the main page, I see no text and just the four pictures. And I dont see the headings (about, contact, etc) though I did before you removed the ding. And I dont see the vertical digitalgoth.com on the side.
Doing some sort of background would actually be rather hard. Since it's actually 2 pieces: the flash, and the html background, it would be impossible to make them line up on everyone's screen, or in different browsers and screen resolutions. Not to mention how it would change based on how people had their windows sized... ;) Maybe I'll figure out some way to do it in the future, but for now it's gonna be white.
It could just be a small pattern, nothing that you'd need to see all of to make sense of. Since I have a widescreen, I know I see more white than most people, but still - just a suggestion. :)
I'm not going to be implementing it entirely in flash, just doing the basic layout in flash because it's easier to mirror that to html than the other way around.
I'll see what I can do about the background. It really would be difficult to fix, but I'll send you a screencap to show you what I mean.
The non-scrolling thing isn't really something I can do anything about. The problem is that your flash player remaps the arrow keys to something else when it is the active element on the page. So yes, when I get the html version done, they'll work fine.

And I agree about the ding ding - a bit annoying. And the fancy capitals. If the font size was bigger, it might be ok though.

Also, why is the font in your LJ reply box so *tiny*? I have to copy/paste into something else to be able to proofread my typing.
As far as the size of the text in my LJ reply box, I have no idea.
