In today's news:

Basic rundown on things here would go like so:
I do a club. (Promotion, DJ)
I run a copycenter. (Production, Desktop publishing)
I'm going skydiving on Sunday. (Friend's birthday)

Things are good overall.

I'm planning on visiting the Northern California ren faire next week
or the one after, not sure which yet... Corey's working it and I
might end up as well. We'll see how short they are on fops next week
or the one after. ;)

The skydiving is going to be a lot of fun. 12,000 feet of falling.
I'm going to piss my pants... There's a group of like 8 of us all
going to be jumping together in celebration of my friend Robert's
birthday. I'm doing it for my own birthday as well. We're going
to be the 'Great Goth Falling'... I'm gonna see if they have a bunch
of black jumpsuits for us all to match. *grins*

I sorta inherited the club when we got rid of the girl that was
supposed to be doing promotion. That's a good thing. She was the
only bad wheel in the mix. Things are running smoother now.

The copycenter is fun. I actually manage to enjoy a job where I get
to kick machinges and ignore customers... Er... wait... where's the
downside? Seriously though, I enjoy it. I'm up for promotion next
week and a $4/hour raise. After that, it's into the range of
salaried managers and I'm not sure I want to do that yet.

I'm going to buy a motorcycle for myself. Remember when I bought my
Maserati for my 20th birthday? It's looking like that's going to
have to happen about every 5 years or so. Next year I'm buying a
bike. :) I'm tired of busses here, but parking sucks too much to
buy a real car. Between now and then, I need to learn how to ride
a bike.

The girlie and I are fantastic. She's still amazing to me and takes
my breath away every time I lose myself in her eyes. I catch myself
smiling when I think about her at work and my day just seems a bit
brighter and imminently more bearable.

I was having a discussion with a friend about how I'm feeling old.
Not 'old' as in "oh my aching back", but 'old' as in, my youth has
quite firmly fled and left me in the prime of my life. I'm generally
happy, few insecurities, energetic, seeing a wonderful girlie, and
I'm ok with all that. "Old" is what happens when the string of
moments that life consists of simply start to pass you by. That most
certainly hasn't happened to me yet. I find myself revelling in all
of them as much as I can because I'm more aware of time passing than
I was...

That's about the news here. How's life?

An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when
one may have to back up his acts with his life.
